User and service trainings

General

• Our policy is to provide trainings at a minimum cost for trainees or their organizations.
• Trainings are conducted in English.
• If an interpreter is required, the cost will be charged the trainee or its organization on a non profit basis.
• The content of the training can be customized.
• Duration of trainings is minimum 5 days.

Individual trainings:

• Individual or small group trainings are conducted at Index Braille and Accessibility's facilities in Malacca, Malaysia, or in any local hotel in Malacca if so required.
• Trainees cover their own travel expenses.
• Index Braille and Accessibility covers cost for accommodation, food and transportation during the training.
• International trainees are picked up at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Domestic trainees are picked up at Malacca bus station (Melaka Sentral).
• The fee is 325 USD/person/day. (RM 1500.00/person/day)
• Training time 5 days.
• Special equipment or extra services that may be requested will be charged at a non profit basis.

For trainings within the ASEAN conditions area:

• An Index Braille and Accessibility representative visits the client that organize the training.
• Index Braille and Accessibility covers own travel expenses.
• The organizer provides training facility including required equipment.
• The organizer provides or covers costs for accommodation, food, and transportation during the training time.
• Training time minimum 5 days.
• The fee for group trainings is 4 500 USD (RM 17 100.00) for the fist 5 days, then 450 USD / day (RM1 710.00/day) for each additional day.
• Maximum 12 trainees.
• If the travel time requires, Index representative is entitled of 24 hours rest between arrival and training start.

These conditions also applies to the following countries: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Mongolia.

Disclaimer - some of these countries may not be possible for us to visit or include excessive costs due to travel restrictions/conditions, why we in such case can only offer trainings at our center in Malaysia.

For trainings outside the ASEAN area:

• An Index Braille and Accessibility representative visits the client that organize the training.
• Index Braille and Accessibility covers own travel expenses.
• The organizer provides training facility including required equipment.
• The organizer provides or covers all costs for accommodation, food, and transportation during the training time.
• Training time minimum 5 days.
• The fee for group trainings is 4 500 USD  for the fist 5 days, then 450 USD / day for each additional day.
• Maximum 12 trainees.
• If the travel time requires, our representative is entitled of 24 hours rest between arrival and training start.
