Visit Index Braille and Accessibility

Index Braille and Accessibility (M) Sdn Bhd is located in Malim Jaya, just outside the "Historical city" of Malacca, about 130 km south of Kuala Lumpur or 200 km north of Singapore.

When traveling to Index Braille and Accessibility, please keep the following details in mind:

Visa

Visitors from most Asian countries are required to have visa to visit Malaysia.
Foreign visitors are consequently requested to apply for visa in sufficient time prior the visit.
Contact the Malaysian Embassy or Consulate in your country to find out the conditions.
If you would require an invitation letter to support your application, we will issue that on request.

Traveling by air

Make your reservation with the final destination Kuala Lumpur International Airport (airport code KUL).
From the airport to our office there is a distance of app. 130 Km, best traveled by car. You may take an Budget Airport limousine from the airport. The fee is about 145.00 RM (app. US$45) and you buy a ticket at the counter just after exiting the customs check point. Payment is cash, as they don't facilitate any credit card service(!) at the ticket counter, so preferable bring Malaysian Ringgit or use any of the ATM machines at the airport to withdraw.
Foreign currency exchange offices are available in the terminal building prior to customs check point.

In the case that you are scheduled to meet with any of our representatives in Kuala Lumpur, we recommend that you take the KLIA Express, an express train service that will bring you into the Kuala Lumpur Central Station in about half an hour. The fare is app. 35 RM/person, however if you are traveling in a small group, it may be cheaper, more practical and convenient to use the Budget Airport limousine.
From the central station you may take a cab to your hotel where we will meet up with you.

Traveling by car

From Kuala Lumpur, pass Sungai Besi toll plaza, follow the southbound highway for app. 100 km and exit to Alor Gajah. Immediately after the toll plaza, turn left at the roundabout and follow the signboards for Malacca (Bandar Melaka).
After app. 26 km turn left at the junction in Cheng Heights (next to two high raised condominium buildings), follow the signs for Malim Jaya and drive about 1.5 km until you reach a roundabout where you turn right and continue for another 1.1 km. After about 800 m you will pass a Maybank office on your left, then continue another 300 meters until you turn right, now go 200 meters straight into the area, turn second left and immediately right.
Index Braille and Accessibility is the second (and last) building on your left.

From Singapore/Johor Bahru, follow the northbound highway to the exit Ayer Kerho. After the toll plaza, follow the signboards for Malacca town (Bandar Melaka). When you reach the junction next to the Melaka Al Azim Mosque (on your left) , turn right and follow the signboards for Alor Gajah/Malim Jaya. After about 2.5 kilometers you will reach a flyover where you take left before you enter the flyover and then turn right under the flyover, continue into Malim Jaya area for about 800 m. Take the left in the first junction and go 200 meters straight into the area, turn second left and immediately right. Index Braille and Accessibility is the second (and last) building on your left.
