PC Keyboard [Connect to PS2 port using
standard keyboard connector]
Connect a PC keyboard, type text and produce
Braille, and hear it supported by audio response.
Supports PC keyboard skills training.
Useful to involve peers and classmates in Braille

PC Connectivity [Connect a PC using the

98 or NT, for full formatting functionality and

you send formatted documents from a PC to the

Printer Port [Connect using the Parallel
Out]
Print text documents as they are being brailled, or
send a file already stored in the memory of the
Mountbatten directly to the text printer.
MB Comm [Connect a PC or portable to the
Serial Out Port, requires 9-female. S2 also supports
a printer]
MB Comm is a software package included with the
Mountbatten.
Use this software to transfer files between the
Mountbatten and the PC.
It enables users to forward text files for
storage on the Mountbatten, or, to forward them for
immediate embossing.
Files created on the Mountbatten can be
transferred to the PC for checking, editing or
storage.
Speaker [Built-in]
Audio response indicates default settings on
start-up, speaks commands and individual letters.
Speech feedback enhances the learning process.
With the MB Pro, a speech synthesiser is
included. Allows for full editing of documents.
Headphones [Connect via socket using
